In this Quest episode, I talked with Licensed Mental Health Counselor and author Dr Sh’nai Simmons.

Dr. Sh’nai shares parts of her own Becoming Story,--chapters that include her early childhood educational experiences, her sudden move to Florida, taking a leap of Faith, despite much sacrifice and fear, surviving Breast Cancer, and the inspirations that led her to create her private practice Community Victory Family Services, Inc. She is the author of several books to include “Blessed not Broke”, and “Fight with Faith”. You can find her books on Amazon and her website. Dr Sh’nai guides others on their Becoming journeys as an approved Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counselor Interns and Marriage and Family Therapy interns. As a ‘self-care strategist’, Dr. Sh’nai works with people in the helping profession recover from Compassion Fatigue.
