E22: We are joined by Sarah Girgis, founder of BeFitreat, a holistic retreat featuring fitness activities, training, coaching, nature and accommodation. Sarah shares the source of her inspiration for starting this global health and fitness company. In a warm environment and supplemental to getting physically fit, people come to grow strong in mindfulness and nutritional knowledge. Partnering with Tiger Muay Thai , local tour guides and boutique hotels such as The W Hotels , Sarah competes in the leisure, travel and tourism industries.
Sarah discloses how her six week backpacking journey evolved into a three month stay, turning her into a fitness addict and certified trainer. Her new obsession and preachiness (similar to new vegans) drove her to risk it all and ultimately succeed despite others advising otherwise. We discuss being plastic-free, balancing rockstar lifestyles like Tyga , Lindsay Lohan .
