Michael hearkens back to days of yore, when quadrennial political conventions were over-the-top productions with big crowds, big fun, and a surprise or two. He then contrasts that with the pre-packaged, choreographed 'Zoom meeting' Americans were subjected to on Monday night, including Michelle Obama's canned speech. This, of course, didn't stop the mainstream media from tripping over themselves with praise for the former First Lady - in a display of sycophantic worship usually reserved for the cult of personality projected by third-world dictators.
