Data Sheets

The term “data sheets” indicates documentation that summarizes the features of a component, such as an electronic or mechanical component.
Usually data sheets are written in English (or other languages) and the information can usually be found on the manufacturer’s website.
A data sheet usually includes:

1. The name of the manufacturer which is found in the general description of the device;

2. The name of the component and the features which distinguish the device;

3. The description of connection pins, possible information about how the device is combined with other components and other diagrams that illustrate the device;

4. The most common uses of the component, instructions for use and other common applications;

5. Tables of maximum voltage and current parameters and other electrical characteristics;

6. Electrical features including information regarding the maximum values of voltage, storage temperature etc, which must not be exceeded, thus guaranteeing the proper functioning of the component.

7. Typical performance characteristics in the form of graph or waveform;

8. Ordering information, which does not usually includes prices;

Every component has an identification code and is distinguish from other members of its “family” our on the basis of the type of technology used for its construction.
