Devotional Message:

Scripture: Galatians 5:13 (KJV)
“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

Christ has called us into liberty. This freedom is not simply freedom from something; it is freedom for something—to love God, serve others, walk in righteousness, and fulfil our divine purpose.

Freedom From Bondage

Through Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin, fear, guilt, or the pressures of our past. God’s grace gives us the power to leave behind whatever has kept us spiritually bound.

Freedom With Responsibility

Christian liberty is not permission to live carelessly. Paul reminds us not to use our freedom as an opportunity to satisfy the flesh. True liberty enables us to make choices that honour God.

Liberty to Serve

God sets us free so that we can serve others in love. Your freedom should make you more compassionate, generous, forgiving, and willing to help those around you.

Walk in Your Freedom

Do not allow your past to define your future. You have been called into liberty. Walk boldly in the grace of God, remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and use your freedom to fulfil your purpose.

Today, Ask Yourself

Am I using the freedom Christ has given me to honour God and serve others in love?

Prayer:
Almighty Father, thank You for calling me into liberty through Christ. Help me to walk in freedom without returning to bondage. Give me grace to live responsibly, love others, serve faithfully, and use my freedom to fulfil Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
