We operate out of entitlement. And this weak agency disarms us of our true power. The autonomy to solve problems.
Whether we admit it or not, we've surrendered self-sufficiency for entitled quick fixes. People want the life hack and the short cut. We are too quick to throw our hands in the air when life gets difficult.
Jordan Petterson uses the example of cleaning your room, and asking yourself the question, "What can I do to organize this room?"
This is the same inquiry needed when becoming a valued problem solver. A man must ask himself "What can I do to remedy the issue at hand?"
And then begin to seek out problematic areas and their solutions. In a world where everyone wants the life hack, man that holds the lasting answer is a man of value and esteem. People take notice and choose tofollow a person that has proven they have the capacity to problem solve. Solutions and the value thereof trumps quick fox entitlement everytime.
