Sermon for Maundy Thursday. The Scripture readings for tonight’s service are Exodus 12:1-13; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32; and John 13:1-15, 34-35.
When you come to the Sacrament, you come as royal children of Christ the King and are serving the world. The world benefits from you receiving Holy Communion because in this meal, you proclaim Jesus’ death in the place of sinners (1 Cor. 11:26).
