If you have a child in your life, there’s a good chance he or she has asked you to read their copy of Pinkalicious, the picture book about an imaginative young girl named Pinkalicious Pinkerton who loves the color pink. The mega-hit book series (which also includes titles such as Purplicious and Aqualicious) has sold a whopping 30 million copies and spent more than 109 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list. The Pinkalicious universe has also been adapted into a wildly popular live stage musical (which premiered to sold-out audiences in New York and continues to be performed across the country) and a top-rated animated series on PBS Kids that reaches millions of young viewers.

Pinkalicious is the brainchild of author and artist Victoria Kann, who now introduces the latest installment of the book series, Rubylicious. Rubylicious continues the adventures of Pinkalicious and her brother Peter who find a magic rock willing to grant them one wish, which teaches them how being selfless can be its own reward.
