The Reading Room Series, a monthly celebration of the literary arts in Western Illinois University's Department of English featuring faculty, graduate and undergraduate students was placed on hold in the wake of COVID-19. Here are some of the voices of our incredible students reading original fiction and poetry written in response to our contemporary and changing world. In 2020-2021, the Reading Room Series will continue to change in response to the virus, but a way forward will be found to continue elevating and making room for the stories our campus community has to share.
