show moreMr. David Prince, an industrial designer who has worked on stand-up desks, suggests simple acts throughout the day that will help increase wellness and productivity within the workplace:
Be a proponent for yourself by requesting a sit/stand desk option or mobile workstations.
Incorporate simple movements that fit in your daily routine – set a timer for the top and bottom of every hour as a reminder to at least switch positions or walk to get a drink of water
Encourage stand-up meetings - both more efficient and healthier than traditional sit-down meetings.
Move about the office – identify locations where mobile workstations like LearnFit would be a good alternative
