Eric Altman is a Cryptozoologist with a specific study of hair covered bipedal primates such as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Eric has a combined 39 years of study of this phenomenon with over 22 years of field research and investigation into the Sasquatch/Bigfoot mystery. Eric is the former director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and is the founder and current Director of the Pennsylvania Cryptozoology Society. Eric also considers himself a Paranormal enthusiast and follows all things strange and unusual.

Eric has been actively investigating cases and sighting claims dating back to 1997 and has investigated or assisted in investigating over 250 cases of Bigfoot sightings, encounters and claims in Pennsylvania an the surrounding states. From 2000 to 2011, Eric was the organizer and host of the East Coast Bigfoot Conference. In 2016 Eric began organizing and hosting the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Adventure, a 3 day outdoor Bigfoot festival and charity fund raising event. For the past 19 years, Eric has become a much sought after public speaker on the Bigfoot topic. He has lectured across the country for Bigfoot, Cryptozoology and Paranormal conferences and events as well as for schools, libraries and small groups.

Eric has been featured in multiple documentaries, television programs, and films on Bigfoot. He has also contributed to, been interviewed for and appeared on various radio interviews and print media.
