Guest: Bob Keeton

For this native of Richmond, Virginia, life always included two very specific dreams: to become a pilot and to work in radio.

Bob Keeton has over 35 years of broadcasting experience in radio and TV. He started with volunteer radio shows at the McGuire VA Hospital (MVGH Radio). He was elected General Manager of Va. Tech's student station, WUVT AM-FM and went on to host Saturday night oldies shows on WLVA in Lynchburg, then WGOE and later on WRVA in Richmond, Va. He felt led to resign from the popular oldies show on Richmond’s 50,000-watt station in order to study metaphysical healing.

At that time, AM stations across the country were dropping music and going to talk formats. So 3 years after leaving the station, WRVA welcomed Keeton back to host his first talk show. The program was called Living Successfully. It debuted on Easter, 1996 with guest, Dr. Wayne Dyer.
