While he serves as a pastor today, it wasn't always so. Before going to seminary, Larry was a marketing Major at the University of Iowa with a focus in his studies on the advertising world. After several years in the business world and nearly twenty years of ministry, Larry reflected on the tools Satan might use to market his demonic lies in the twenty-first century. Regardless of the community or church in which he ministered, Larry has sought to help people spot the differences between the truth of what God has said and the lies and half-truths Satan seeks to dupe people into embracing. Larry's desire to reach as many as possible with these truths has led him to speak and write of them repeatedly in a variety of ways in the church where he serves the Lord today.
