Anne Alston is the Founder and CEO of ALSTNTEC, a certified SBA EDWOSB and certified DBE/MBE/SBE Consulting Company.

Anne’s extensive background comes with over 20-years of providing valuable Career Transition and Small Business Development services. Anne mantra is “Partnership, Growth, and Results” is what she always strives for everyone to accomplish. Through her learning courses, workshops, and speaking events, Anne continues to promote positive changes to her clients that will last a lifetime. Anne is also the President and Executive Director of Destination Achievers Incorporated, a Maryland 501(c)(3) organization providing workforce training outreach programs and creator of the Business Men and Women of Color Podcast and Magazine platforms. The BMWOC is a global online platform that shares career and business trends of working professionals, business owners, speakers, and authors.

As an activist for education, her endeavors have yielded opportunities to provide her services to many individuals within the Greater Washington, DC area and on a global scale. Her partnerships to provide her services extend to private businesses and educational institutions such as the University of Maryland University College, U.S. Department of Education, Prince George’s County Public Schools, Maryland Future Business Leaders Association, and the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education STEMnet program and many others. For her efforts, she was awarded the UMUC Alumni Achiever Award from the University of Maryland University College and have received recognition from several non-profit organizations.
