Source Material #277 - SBTU - “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters” (IDW, 2014)

The Super Blog Team Up continues and wow, do we have a jam packed episode for you today! The topic for this round of blogs and podcasts is the idea of “Expanded.” Where we take a look at franchises that went beyond their initial conception and had their story furthered into other media, adding more to the original mythos!

And this time, Source Material took a look at an IDW crossover that took two beloved properties from the 80’s and put them together in one world. Mark and Jesse review the 2014 comic “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters” that throws the two teams together to face a common threat before time runs out for one of them!

But after that, we are definitely not done! Ronnie Adams comes back to discuss the other avenues both the TMNT and the Ghostbusters have taken since their appearances in 1984. Examining the films, the toys, the comics, the cartoons, and the video games spilling forth from both franchises over the years!

It absolutely is a “super” episode for The Super Blog Team Up!
