Need a little guidance with a vinyl release? On this episode we talk with Karen Emanuel, not only a unicorn with her flamingo pink hair, but also in the UK music business. Karen is the founder of Key Production Group, a creative agency and vinyl broker founded in 1990. Key Production has navigated the ever changing music business successfully for the last 32 years under Karen’s lead, employing 60 people, and helping everyone from major labels to first time artists release physical media.

Karen is also the CEO of Moving The Needle, an organization with a mission close to our hearts, supporting women in the UK music industry through their entire career, and informing students about the multitude of roles available in our industry, from performance all the way through topping the charts in Senior Management positions.

Bonus Fact: She’s also bought an island and opened a sustainable hotel in Nicaragua. What can’t she do?! Check it out: www.jicarolodge.com
