On this week's episode, Kirstin stresses the importance of strength training no matter what age. If you're a teenager wanting to improve your fitness ,and in your sport, or post-menopause and you want to age as healthy as possible, there are tons of tidbits in this episode for you. It's so common to hear questions like, "should I be strength training?", "should I get a coach or personal trainer?", "what if I don't have time for strength training?". This episode will help you get an idea of what you want to look for in a strength program and where to start by assessing how your body is moving right now, so that you know where to start. It's also very common for endurance athletes to want to skip the strength sessions and Kirstin explains why that may be hurting your performance and your body overall.
