Ellen Kamhi talks with Dr. Udaya Thomas, an Integrative Nurse Practitioner at Memorial Primary Care in Hollywood, Florida. She has completed her PhD in Nursing, Interdisciplinary Health with a focus on Health Psychology. Her dissertation was specifically focused on the effect of mindfulness meditation in groups of patients with anxiety compared to usual integrated behavioral health in primary care. She has been an IM4US volunteer for 7 years and is also past President of IM4US Board of Directors.
