As today is the eleventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, this show was recorded to play at this time and date.  What happened after Hurricane Katrina?  The storm was the beginning of a new book for many in health, life, work, environment and rebuilding after disasters.

Dr. Mark Klinedinst and Linda VanZandt are authors of Katrina Ten Years After documents the economic, science, social/cultural aspects and history of the two most devasted areas in the worst natural disaster in the U.S..  The storm shed a light on the insufficiencies on the area yet the people who lived here prior to the storm were quite happy.  When the people came in to the area after a storm and brought their ideas and beliefs with them, that is where the conflict and judgement began as to how people should live, work and be happy.
