She begins in Isaiah and follows into the Gospels to show how Christ was present from the beginning and yet, is given as a new gift to us in the Incarnation -a gift that frees us by His Light from the chains of darkness, sin, suffering and death. Mary shows how the Christ Child enters into our dark, mundane world as a gift of the Father's Light to draw our minds and hearts into the heavenly Life of Light and Love waiting for us in Eternity.
