We're back! Swell Season is back with a new episode. We sat down with Professor Charles Mencel. He is a local NJ surfer and shaper (Mencel Surfboards) from Monmouth County. His surfing is focused on smooth, stylish and powerful carving turns that make him a stand out in any line up in the area. His boards have gained a lot of of attention in recent years with Pro, Pat Schmidt riding is boards. On top of his surf credentials, he’s an English Professor at Brookdale Community College and has a strong grasp on New Jersey Surf History.
