We speak to Chris about his company Shaper Studios which offers workshops on board design and craft all the while creating community in cities around the world. We get into the challenges of making a buck in the board business, why Vancouver (six hours and a ferry away from surf) was the perfect spot to expand his business, and the emergence of women shapers though his classes.
