This week we talk about the meanness going on in person and on social media. We ask the question of why? Why are people being so mean right now through this crisis? What can we do to help say goodbye to mean during this pandemic and after. People are anxious and fearful for what is going to happen and they don’t know how to handle it and are turning those emotions into meanness.

We offer some ways to help curb the meanness:

-Find something in common with that person
-Thank people and wish them well
-Think before you post or respond
-Remember there is always a “why”
