show moreHumans are creatures of great aiming abilities — we can take pieces of wood, rock, feathers, and string and hit a moving target hundreds of yards away. No other creature can do that. We can aim our physical, mental, and emotional states over the course of decades and hit a desired job, retirement, etc. — no other creature can do that.
It requires the use of 3 types of language: prescriptive, descriptive, and predictive: ought, is, what can/will be. This means not all words are created equal. They have different purposes and trajectory - it would be like saying it doesn’t matter where the archer aims, he’ll hit the target 🎯. You know that’s not true. So why do you think that all language and aiming in life is equal and should bring about the same outcome? There is no such things as equity of outcome.
