Mental health advocates of all backgrounds are acknowledging that trauma shows up in the body and needs to be addressed at its core. It is not enough to just treat the symptoms.

This topic is past due to be explored. I felt the author as she showed great compassion for her parents. She got the nail on the head when she said we are retraumatized when there is no acknowledgment of the event that caused the initial trauma. I for one needed this podcast! Great job, Dark Sugar!!!
