The New Age of MOM
Mothers are Valuable

When it comes to the kind of "work" that moms do-- be it housework, childcare, or business -- moms are no longer being dismissed or devalued as they were in previous generations. With an increase in mom-owned businesses and the success of business women who have made a point of making their family a top priority, America is beginning support moms in practice rather than just in theory.
Mothers are Growing the Economy

Moms are the #1 consumer demographic and are leading the race in the digital space as the top influencers in social media...tipping the scales in favor of maternal empowerment. Today’s flexible, networked, product-recommended driven entrepreneurial culture is run by the "Mom Mafia". Want advice on the best handyman in town? The neighborhood's hottest hangout? The latest and greatest new baby gadget? Ask any mom. Moms ALWAYS give the best word-of-mouth advertising.
Mothers are Natural Innovators

In most of the cases, most million dollar mom-inventions are derived from a moment of mommy-frustration. A work-at-home mom is born from the motivation to earn an income while being a caretaker. Mompreneurship has become the solution to a double income society that has not taken into account expensive childcare.
Mothers are Problem Solvers

Mompreneurship is different from the conventional definition of entrepreneurship, but has served American families and the economic climate all the same. The evolution of the "momprenuer" model has allowed women to apply basic business principles and creative growth strategies to construct an income-making framework ideal for a busy ...but savvy... stay-at-home-mom.
Mother's Have a Knack for Business

Julie Aigner-Clark, founder of Baby Einstein started from the basement of her house and exited successfully after being bought by The Walt Disney Company. Arianna Huffington, a mother of two, needed an outlet for political discussion and created a news platform that would eventually be acquired by AOL. Despite being poverty stricken and a single mother JK Rowling became one of the world's greatest rags to riches story, authoring the bestselling Harry Potter series.

These are just a very few examples of those who have made it big, but there are many successful mompreneurs who fall in the small-sized business category --- generating profit, and value for themselves, contributing towards the growing economy, generating jobs and ESPECIALLY paving the way for future mompreneurs by sharing the wisdom of their experiences.
