It is not uncommon to have 15-20 sitting outside my window. One day a shadow obscured the sun. It was a giant turkey vulture. It was over twice the size of the average turkey vulture. It was the biggest bird I have ever scene flying.

Now the inspiration of the drink. Or not... now here in Wisconsin we have a lot of turkey vultures. They spend a lot of time on the ledge outside my office. Their wingspan is 6-8 feet.
