Whilst this podcast's exposure of the particular problems caused by this variety of faith schools was enlightening, I was disappointed by the speaker's assumption that people who commit sexual offences should be imprisoned for life without parole and that this is both unremarkable and a sign of how seriously we are taking such offences. There is a thriving abolitionist movement in which restorative and transformative approaches to justice are shown to be far superior to the criminal justice system and our present use of imprisonment.
