We've had guns in this country since DAY 1! Guns are not the problem. Mass shootings didn't really start happening until the 1980's. About the same time that we stopped teaching kids about the value of life, about the importance of God, and morality.

Since 1979, approximately 400 innocent people have lost their lives to mass shooters. Prior to 1979, you can't get to 400 people killed in mass shootings that way. Why? Access to guns was easier. Everyone had one (or two!)

Why do you think that there weren't many mass shootings prior to 1979? Gun control started kicking in in the 1980's.
