The generator I have now will not run the house. My next generator will be that. It will be a tri fuel so I can run it on propane. Gas goes bad, propane doesnt.
40 gallons will get you through a week of constant generator. You run it once every 4-5 hours and need to be prepared to do everything during that hour the generator is running.
