show moreHowever, Amanda Shirley, Dj’s Sister and her family believe Dj’s death was a homicide and not a suicide. Amanda said DJ had made plans for the future and had no reason to commit suicide.
During the investigation the caller changed his story multiple times, failed a polygraph test and offered an unbelievable, if not impossible explanation as to how DJ shot himself. According to Amanda, two witnesses watched then entire scene unfold. One was DJ’s wife Brandy. Both witnesses said the man who called 911 shot and killed DJ. Even with witnesses, authorities have not changed DJ’s cause of death or treated DJ’s death as a homicide.
