A Heart Based Approach to Parenting
There is a real difference between a heart based approach to parenting and behavioral modification. As parents, we must have our children's heart. The concepts of this approach can easily be identified in God's word, which today's guest, Dr. Scott Turansky will tell you is a barrel of resources. A heart based approach is the best approach, even among particularly defiant children. Today, Dr. Turanksy will talk to us about a heart based approach to parenting.
Dr. Scott Turansky is married to Carrie and they have five children and four grandchildren. He cofounded the National Center for Biblical Parenting with Joanne Miller, RN, BSN and they teach parenting seminars most every week of the year somewhere in the country. They have written 12 books on parenting, have three video training programs for parents and have trained 120 presenters who teach live seminars on their behalf. They homeschooled their children as do their own children with their kids.
