Family Renewal, Discipleship, Full-Time Parenting and Homeschooling
Here on the Homeschool Leadercast we have talked several times about discipling our children, raising them up to know and love Christ and teaching them through a biblical worldview.  This is such an important area that it cannot be understated, and yet many Christian parents still need more encouragement in discipling their family.  Part of this is all about engaging and communicating more as parents along the way while capturing our children's hearts.  Our guest today is Israel Wayne author of the books; Homeschooling from a Biblical Worldview, Full-Time Parenting: A Guide to Family-Based Discipleship, and his upcoming book Questions God Asks. Israel is joining us today for our Friday feature episode, Fathers Get in the Race.  But today's episode is much more than fathering.  It is about parenting and family.

Since 1995, Israel has traveled the nation speaking on family, homeschooling, revival, discipleship, and cultural issues. He is frequent guest on national radio and television programs. Israel’s family began home educating in 1978 and has been featured in national and international publications including TIME Magazine, The Arizona Republic, The Boston Globe, and the Wall Street Journal. Israel has been featured as the keynote speaker at various conferences, with over 5,000 in attendance.

Israel and his wife Brook were joined in marriage without dating and share their testimony of God’s faithfulness on an audiobook titled, What God Has Joined Together. Israel and Brook, both homeschool graduates themselves, are home educating their seven young children and are expecting their eighth child.
