Regional play took place in the NCAA Tournament for softball and of the five Big Ten teams that made it, none advanced to the Super Regionals. Does that shed a bad light on Big Ten softball, or is getting five teams into the national tournament an achievement in and of itself? Kevin and Troy discuss that on this week’s show, as well as the Big Ten’s representation in the NCAA Tournament for baseball.
Four teams from the conference made it and the Big Ten Tournament winner, Minnesota, is hosting its regional in Minneapolis as the No. 1 seed. Three other teams made it – two of which earning No. 2 seeds and another as a No. 3. Will any Big Ten teams make the Super Regionals? The youngster and old man are chatting about the great American pastime on this week’s shorter-than-usual show.
