UPLOAD
Upload follows Nathan Brown (Robbie Amell), a young man trying to succeed in the digital world, and who after a car crash is pushed by his girlfriend to upload himself so they can be together (essentially) forever. Once there, he meets Nora (Andy Allo), a customer service rep who plays the role of “angel” for the uploads under her watch. Nora serves as a guide for Nathan, and also discovers there’s something not quite right with him, the way he died, and his avatar’s files. Created by Greg Daniels of The Office, alavilable on Amazon Prime.

DAVE
FXX’s new series DAVE is centered on a neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends, because with their help, he actually might convince the world. The half-hour comedy is based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd, known as Lil Dicky on stage.

THIS JUST IN
Traditional TV is stepping up its efforts to serve up some comfort food during the COVID-19 crisis. The latest example: CBS is dusting off its Sunday night movie franchise — dormant since 2006 — and reinventing it as a showcase for classic blockbusters. Scheduled to run for five weeks, the rebooted CBS Sunday Night at the Movies kicks off May 3 at 8 p.m. with a presentation of Raiders of the Lost Ark. It’ll be followed by Forrest Gump (May 10), Mission: Impossible (May 17), Titanic (May 24), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (May 31.)
