I think I mentioned this before but I ruined my first Teflon pan because when the directions said season the pan, I did not know that meant to heat oil the pan until oil sets in the pan and remember to turn it off before it the oil burns.

I started using a cast iron pan and that you need to season it every time you wash it.

Kids these days have it easy crock pots come with removable pots and you can put them in the dishwasher just not the part with the electrical cord.

So when your food starts on fire remember you can throw salt on the fire to put it out but flour is not a good idea.
