This episode of IN THE CUT features the celebrated and internationally acclaimed pianist and composer from Toronto, Thompson Egbo-Egbo. He stopped by talk about his first album release in three years, What Remains. He discusses the three-part suite (What Was Taken, the title track, What Remains and What Possibilities) where Thompson is joined (for the first time) by Odin Quartet.

Some of the original inspiration for this project comes from a collection of voice notes. Thompson walks us through the making of the album and some creative close calls.
