Salvatore Avallone, Co-CEO of Villa Matilde Avallone (with sister, Maria Ida), discusses the significance of Falernum wines and his father’s research on the subject to start Villa Matilde, located at Falerno del Massico, on the northwestern coast of Campania. The family also owns vineyards in Irpinia and Benevento.
