I've never been a fan of "busy" work - the kind of stuff that is relatively meaningless but occupies one's time. Rearranging the food in my freezer has never been a source of fulfillment for me. I've always needed to feel as though what I was doing was making a difference in someone elses life. Performing individual random acts of kindness are admirable but only when one's purpose in life is bigger than themselves will we ever find the fulfillment that comes from selfless intent.
