"A key ingredient is being willing to be vulnerable and to learn. That's what builds empathy. White people need to take responsibility for educating ourselves." She enjoys BSU where Black and Brown students can be the majority, where everyone is welcome & can feel relief in their daily lives in a primarily White city.
