- On May 31, 2014, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier convinced their best friend, Payton Leutner, to play a game of hide-and-seek in a section of woods near their home called David’s Park, in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  Unbeknownst to Payton, her friends didn't really plan on playing hide-and-seek.  Instead, Morgan and Anissa planned on murdering Payton, and the plan was executed with ferocious brutality.  All three girls were just 12-years-old, but the most shocking part of this case, the thing that drew international attention, was motive.  Morgan and Anissa stabbed Payton 19 times in order to appease a shadowy entity known as...Slenderman.
