show moreThis week on the show I am joined by Carol Salva, educational consultant specializing in teaching English Language Learners out of Texas. Carol and I have met a couple times, and while she has been on a couple panel episodes of the podcast, I haven't actually had a chance to sit down with just her yet, so I was really excited to get the chance finally in this episode.
Carol and I talk about podcasting, working with ELL students, having high expectations for all students regardless of language barriers, practical strategies that work within the time available in a real classroom, how to support all students with academic language, the power of podcasting for professional development, ways to engage all students, and the power of learning from our students.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 69 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Carol Salva.
Carol, thank you
