Do You Suffer With Anxiety? Guidance Through Philippians 4:6 - Episode 2 Show Notes
Do you suffer with anxiety? Has worry taken up permanent residence in your daily life?
We all suffer from anxiety and worry from time to time. For some of us, anxiety and worry are constant companions.
There are multiple Biblical passages to help us navigate through and release anxiety that often comes with the challenging waters we call life. One of these is found in Philippians 4:6, New American Standard Bible (NASB):
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
This passage offers the implicit promise we have the capability to be, “anxious for nothing”.
How? By asking God for what we want. In this case, we want peace of mind and emotional wellbeing.
How do we ask God for what we want? With prayer and supplication; “…let your requests be made known to God”.
We’re told to have “thanksgiving”. Thanksgiving for what? Thanksgiving for God’s grace. Thanksgiving for the benefits your prayers will bring.
Listen / read again Philippians 4:6, but this time allow the energy of God’s word to be felt through your entire body and to resonate in your heart:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Really FEEL the truth of God’s word in your body, mind, and spirit. Place your hands on your heart and allow the truth of His word to resonate in your heart.
I invite you to share this episode with family members and friends you believe can benefit from hearing God’s word and bringing the wisdom and positive energy of His word into their lives.
I would love to hear how God’s word is guiding your life. Email me at StressSolutionsLLC@gmail.com and share your testimony.
