My latest episode of The Music Report on my podcast regarding why it is stupid to pay for streaming music monthly service when you can just buy the record or don't buy it at all, in the end consumers are hurting themselves and smaller music content providers and telecom companies like AT &T and Verizon are cashing in, while foreign owned entities like Spotifly only pays less than one penny on the dollar to songwriters/publishers/artist who are getting screwed and eventually no music will get made, you the consumer will continue going to see a Madonna concert or Rolling Stones paying anywhere from $1000 to $10,000 it's headed that way.
