Kate interviews Darren Dowler, singer, guitarist, songwriter, author, screenwriter, director, and filmmaker. At 17, Darren decided to make his living by performing or creating in the visual/audio arts. He has played music with Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Backstreet Boys, The Lettermen, Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, The Fifth Dimension, The Ojays, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Benny Mardones, Bertie Higgins and many more. He at one time was the youngest inductee into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame for his work with The Lettermen & shares a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with the group. He has appeared on Broadway, acted in over 20 films & television shows, starred in Rock and Roll the Movie, Christmas in Hollywood & Grace of The Father. Currently, he is performing as a solo music artist, writing and producing songs & writing and directing film & television projects. He owns the soon to open Kansas City Acting School, offering in-person & online acting classes to the would-be television & movie stars of tomorrow.
