Too often in our lives, we consider people who are different from us as a potential threat to us, and therefore that perceived threat is scary. And because our biases are so ingrained, either intentionally or subconsciously, people find it scary to even have the conversation about Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. Today, we’re going to examine how our brain is designed to protect us from real vs. perceived threats.
