We're back with the sequel to the History of Silencers. In Part II, we discuss the many challenges that silencers have faced since their inclusion in the National Firearms Act of 1934 as well as the role that special operations units have played in bringing suppression back into the spotlight. We'll also take a look at what circumstances have helped to bring silencers back into the mainstream and what obstacles they still face today. The silencer industry has come a long way, but some of the biggest hurdles still lie ahead.
