Brian interviews Kaukab Usman. She is the Federal NDP candidate in Mississauga Erin Mills, and a champion for workers, families, and marginalized communities. She’s always worked to make sure refugees, immigrants, seniors, and vulnerable young people get the support and services that they need. She’s dedicated her life to working towards a society where no one is left behind. Kaukab is a proud Pakistani Canadian and she has always worked to make our community a better place for everyday people. An active volunteer, she’s assisted in community kitchens and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee of City of Mississauga and assists the Peel Poverty Strategy Action Group.
