Yesterday I talked about creating an inclusive workplace where people felt they belonged. One key for that, for transgender and non-binary people, is that they feel comfortable about coming out and transitioning and that they continue to feel valued.

So what does transitioning entail. It is a complex and very scary process which involves a much more complex process than most people realise - so today I am going to talk through the kind of process trans people go through, both if they are having surgery and medical treatment and if they are not.
