So far I have been talking about the basics of the PEPP Story approach to developing an outstanding speech. Today I am coming back to Purpose and that means exploring your audience. The people who listen to your presentation, whether online or face to face, have devoted time to listen to what you have to say. In deciding to do that, they are responding to a personal or business need.

When I attend a conference, or log into a webinar of a zoom call, it is because I heard or read something that showed that listening to the speech would help me solve a problem or achieve a goal.
